"The views from this VRBO were absolutely breathtaking, but unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by some serious maintenance issues. The most unpleasant part was the overwhelming rotten egg smell, which permeated the entire property. It became clear that the water lacked proper filtration, and the odor lingered throughout our stay, making it hard to enjoy the space.Once we noticed that issue, other shortcomings stood out even more. The lack of rain gutters meant that the entrance was constantly dripping wet, and the hot tub area was also affected, with water dripping down even after I shoveled the patio above in an attempt to clear it. Speaking of shoveling, it was disappointing to arrive and find the patio covered in snow, despite no snowfall for four days prior to our stay. The property had clearly been plowed at some point but not before our arrival, making parking a slushy mess. For the price we paid—over 800 for two nights—these details should have been taken care of.This could be a fantastic rental with some basic improvements, but as it stands, the lack of maintenance made our stay frustrating. I hope the owners take these concerns seriously because the location and potential are there—just not the execution.But despite all these shortcoming the views and the privacy are amazing This keeps it constructiv"

"Heather was great at communicating with us on the pet policy and directions. And Todd was fantastic about plowing the road and addressing an evening issue with the smoke detector (about 20' up on the chimney).It was great having separate bathrooms and floors (!) for each of the couples in our group. We enjoyed both the general location and the trails on the property. While we had thought about skiing/snowboarding, we were just as happy staying local and enjoying our time together as a family. Limited cell access wasn't an issue for us. We could periodically check weather conditions and even received or sent calls (as needed). We may like to return in another season to see and explore more of the area/property."

"We had a great time at the cabin in the woods! The property was clean, fully stocked with everything we needed and the hot tub was piping hot. Kitty was a great communicator and provided all needed check in and check out details in a timely manner. We will be back!"

"Very spacious and well appointed residence for any occasion whether a large gathering or small family get away. The location cannot be beat with peaceful and tranquil views from the deck or walk along the bay to a short drive to amazing dining and shopping in Sandpoint. We stayed for Christmas and went skiing and snowmobiling. We are now booked for summer fun in August and cannot wait!"

"Had a wonderful Christmas week with all of our family and grandchildren. Actually, we never left the house and hardly noticed. Plenty of space, fun games for kids, good for a tech family to have a tech house. Very comfortable, nice view, furniture that is easy to keep clean."
