Cottage on the Bay~$375 Free Activities Daily

Two bedrooms and one full bath are on each floor. Gather in the open floor plan around the large dining table for 8 or cozy up to the island for two. The two slip boat house already holds 3 kayaks, 1 paddle board and life jackets for use. The main floor has a queen bedroom and two twin bedroom all with new linens. The full bath has been completely updated and includes a bath/shower. The main living space has large tv, gas fireplace and comfortable seating. The lower level has two full bedrooms also with new linens, a game room, laundry and a full bath with shower. There are many stairs to access the boat house, but upper and middle decks are easily accessible.

All guests will be required to sign a waiver to use Kayaks and paddle board, as well as a Town of Lake Lure Vacation Rental Addendum. The boat in the boat house is NOT available for use or rent. Please do not let children play on it.

Lovely home, very clean. Extensive supply of water ‘toys’ ~ floats, water trampoline, kayaks, paddle board ~ kids had great fun jumping from the ‘high’ dock; safe boat house area & dock; stairway from main floor to lake (~75steps) are well maintained, secure with good hand railing support. House seems well equipped with games & pool table but we spent all of our time outside!! Kitchen & living areas met all of our needs. We would rent this place again !!!

Perfect place on the lake
My family of 7 (kids, parents and grandparents, ages 11-80) stayed here for 5 days and were very pleased. Plenty of room for everyone, well stocked with all the necessities and then some. You have to be able to handle stairs, but it wasn’t an overwhelming amount for any in our party. The best part was the lake itself, deep enough to jump off the top deck and plenty of floats for everyone to enjoy. The house is on a cove, so perfect for my youngest to learn to kayak without worrying about boat traffic and when we took the kayaks out to the main part of the lake, the view was stunning. We had a fantastic time. The host was very responsive and we would not hesitate to rent again. Thank you!

Loved the property, lots is space both inside and outside. Had fun in the game room and playing games at night on the deck. The bay was peaceful and safe for the kids to swim and play. The water trampoline and kayaks were a big hit with the whole family. We would love to come back .

Great Time!!
Overall great place. The location of the house couldn't be better. It's very close to the grocery store, and restaurant (we walked to both). We LOVED the kyaks and especially the huge trampoline innertube. There were 6 of us and the house was the perfect size for us. There are a lot of stairs to go from the kitchen to the deck, but I just figured it helped counterbalance the vacation indulgences.😁 Corey was quick to reply and kept me updated on information. I would definitely recommend this property if looking for a clean, fun, convenient house at Lake Lure.

I had a good time there and the property is pretty nice. There are somethings need to be addressed. They need to put a hand rail on the bottom set of steps in the house and they need to pit some no slip in the shower up stairs. The a/c had trouble keeping it he house cool on the last couple days. I would say probably just needs service. And they should keep toilet paper in the house for as much as it cost. All in all though i had a good time and enjoyed my time there. It is a nice quiet location.

Great location!
We had a wonderful time at this cozy cottage. It was close to the grocery store and walkable to a local restaurant. It is located on a one-way street, we didn't realize this at first. Also, bears got into the trash bag we put out in the trash cans across the street. We were not aware of this, so keep this in mind before putting trash out prior to departure. We cleaned up the mess but never felt unsafe- just something worth mentioning and it's something the neighborhood deals with. *3 working kayaks, fyi. We plan to book this house again in the future. Such a great spot, highly recommend!!

Great place to relax
Our family enjoyed our stay at this cabin on Lake Lure. The dock was awesome with the water trampoline and we loved swimming and kayaking in the lake! The area of the lake is quiet and we enjoyed watching the fish jump in the evenings. The cabin had everything we needed and was in close distance to Ingles for food and gas! Corey was very responsive and answered all our questions very quickly. Would definitely recommend!

Cute Lake Cabin
We had a great time at Lake Lure. The cabin is older but was recently painted so it feels updated. The location and outdoor area can not be beat. Swimming was available right off the dock in a nice, quiet cove. We had access to kayaks and a paddle board. The property manager was great and very responsive. Thank you for sharing your home with us - we will be back!
