"Lovely stay. No tv or a/c but didn’t miss it. Stayed in the house on second floor. It’s like stepping back in time. Lots of antiques and so much charm. On the lake with plenty of things to do or just sit on the porch rocking enjoying good conversation with family. Very clean room and bathrooms;staff was helpful and kind."

"We enjoyed the balcony for relaxing, reading, and eating. We appreciated the host allowing use of the garage under the quarters for parking. Big plus for those who are particular about their vehicle. Also enjoyed the quiet setting and the location to the small towns, lakes, and state parks. Would not hesitate to stay again to do more exploring of the area. The owner was friendly and inquired if all was ok when our paths crossed, but otherwise respected our time and privacy."

"The house was better than the pictures. It had everything we needed! We were a group of 5 girls on a wine tour aged 22-62. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would change is not leaving my white Stanley cup on the counter at checkout. There are lots of games and books for someone hanging around the house. "

"Your house worked great for all of us, great setup, they only complaint was all the ice in the driveway and walk way, very slippery. "

"Beautiful home, beautiful lake views. No visible sunsets or stars but that was a weather issue. Hiked Sleeping Bear dunes, visits to Traverse City and lots of other quaint towns still decorated for Christmas. Loved it all!Highly recommend, must be extraordinary in the summer months. "

"The place is beautiful. Great views. But if you need to get a hold of someone, good luck! Nothing works inside the home. Shower, plugs, fans, dirty toilets. Nearly 45 degrees inside the home when we checked in. Took hours to warm the home. Unable to communicate with anyone regarding any of these issues."
