"We enjoyed the balcony for relaxing, reading, and eating. We appreciated the host allowing use of the garage under the quarters for parking. Big plus for those who are particular about their vehicle. Also enjoyed the quiet setting and the location to the small towns, lakes, and state parks. Would not hesitate to stay again to do more exploring of the area. The owner was friendly and inquired if all was ok when our paths crossed, but otherwise respected our time and privacy."

"Beautiful location. Wineries close by. Near Traverse City for restaurants and shopping. Hosts were next door and friendly. Just wish we had come earlier in the year because the water was too cold for swimming. Otherwise it was a fantastic visit. "

"The condo is newer with plenty of space. All the basics were available (soap, utensils, laundry detergent, etc). We enjoyed walking to breakfast and a winery too. A quick drive to many other wineries and dining options. There are two sets of stairs to the top floor, but we were expecting this from the listing information. "We stayed with our four kids and brought the boat. The kids fished off the dock where we parked the boat during our stay. In walking distance of a grocery store, Fiddleheads breakfast/lunch spot, the Boathouse Winery, the Capital Dog (great ice cream), a True Value and even a gas station.Plenty of seating on the deck and the four queen beds (two were pull out couches) worked for our family. "The house was better than the pictures. It had everything we needed! We were a group of 5 girls on a wine tour aged 22-62. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I would change is not leaving my white Stanley cup on the counter at checkout. There are lots of games and books for someone hanging around the house. "
