"It was absolutely amazing! My family of 18 people spent Christmas in Creste Butte. Teresa was so kind and made sure that everything was wonderful for us. My communication with her was great. She answered any questions that anyone in my family had. Eric, the property manager, was really nice and so helpful with anything we needed. He even towed my brothers vehicle when he got stuck in the snow. The location is great! You feel secluded but you are actually just outside of Creste Butte. The house is amazing. It has everything you need in the kitchen and lots of toys for the kids to play with. We could not have picked a better house to spend our Christmas!"

"Always beautiful at Crested Butte! Had power outage but was handled promptly and professionally. Our room was clean but lacked some basics like a stopper for kitchen sink and limited eating utensils . However we still made due and enjoyed our trip. "

"Our family of five (kids 9, 7, and 4) loved our stay in Crested Butte over Christmas. The house had everything we needed during our stay and was a great value for price. The location is a few block walk to great restaurants and shops on Elk street and short drive (12 minutes) to the mountain. Kids enjoyed the sleds left on the front porch and having the two-room upstairs to themselves. Not having a TV was a bit of an adjustment, but we were fine without it. "

"Great house in the heart of Crested Butte"

"The five of us made it up for a winter visit, skiing and the whole nine yards. Gothic Charmer is in a very peaceful part of town, close to everything (walkable!) but basically set in an aspen glade beyond the through-traffic. Winter views of Crested Butte and a few peaks to the north. The cabin itself was peaceful, too, wonderfully low-key and cozy. It was neat to relax in the living room by the massive stone fireplace, set among walls of rough-hewn log, wood floors with nice rug, and a relaxed old-time feel. Overall, it was a nice mix of rustic and more modern. There’s a lot more room than you’d first think, too - nice quiet master suite in back to one side, rec room out in back on the other. Loved the stained glass flourish in the dining room. Kids loved the bedrooms upstairs. The home was really well appointed, lots to cook with, lots of extra blankets and towels. We especially appreciated clean towels and bedding, without heavily-scented perfume :) Entry foyer had lots of room for boots and winter gear. Alpine Management was wonderfully responsive and hospitable, too, thank you! We had a question about the stove, got it straightened out in under an hour. They were definitely on top of snow removal, we arrived to two big off-street parking spaces, nice and clear, and the caretaker made sure we were happy with accommodations. We hope to stay again soon :) "

"We were here for several days for my daughter’s wedding. We made the best memories here. Across from the house is Long lake and a cute hiking trail. We got to see it snow and it was all truly beautiful . This was a great central location not far from town for the wedding party to gather. At one point we had 20 people from the wedding party all gathered to eat breakfast and we didn’t feel crowded at all. It was a great location for us all to be. The other tenets that live on the property went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Being from Texas , our only complaint would be that there are no fans in the rooms and we did get hot! Even when it’s snowing outside we still needed a fan, but opening the window worked out too. I already wish we could go back! "

"Our family enjoyed staying at this beautiful home which is extremely comfortable. The location is wonderful to enjoy all of the downtown restaurants and unique and creative shops Crested Butte has to offer. We had great campfires under the stars after returning in the evenings and our Fall weekend trip was filled with amazing colors and memories. We are making plans to return for a longer stay in the future! Thank you also to Ted the property manager and his sweet dog Lucy who was up to a great game of fetch the ball with our grandson.
