"We had a wonderful experience staying at NJIA Panda tented lodge. The property is only about two years old, so everything in in great condition. We were the only guests one of the two nights and received exceptional service. The meals were great with serving sizes so large we were never able to finish. We initially had issues getting hot water and the staff immediately had a team out and got it fixed in no time at all. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area."

" I would say to anyone considering staying in this property think again, and move to another lodge unless you like to be harassed, kidnapped for 12 hours ( by locking the gate and not letting us go to Serenity four seasons till midnight when it was too late), Keeping me and my friend outside without a/c, food or water in the heat of Tanzania. Manager in Neptune Ngorongoro acted like he belongs to some criminal enterprises, thinking of nothing as racketeering, insults, threats, intimidations by sending his other gang members pretending to be police, causing my blood pressure skyrocket and nervous breakdown with crying all that time. Finally after reaching breaking point I started to fight back, by calling Expedia, American Embassy and other lodges in Serengeti where we were on the way to FOR HELP! This experience left a bitter taste about whole supposed to be nice vacation time across half of the world. I have been all over many continents, and seen good and not very, but in general hotels always trying to accommodate and resolve the problem. But this NEPTUNE NGORONGORO can't be even characterized ( the only things coming to mind is Torture chamber)"

"This company is completely untrustworthy. We had one night reserved here and two night at another of their properties. We wanted to stay at this property for an extra night, and cancel the first night at the other property. Everyone told me this would be fine - the staff at this hotel, the staff at the second hotel, and their main office staff. They said to book the second night at this place and then send a request through to cancel the first night at the other property and they would accept it. So I did that. But they rejected my request. They blamed the computer systems, claiming to have accepted. The property manager at the other hotel assured me that the company would sort it out with the travel agency. He even told me he had a notation in the file about the size of the refund. I followed up to get the refund for the first night at the other property and now the main office is saying we stayed there for the full two nights which is completely false. Needless to say, I have enough documentation to challenge this through my credit card, but I shouldn't have to. Long story short, don't do business with this company - they will lie to you and everyone else just to squeeze some extra money out of you. "
