"We had a fantastic stay at Cabanas Alechen. The property was clean, comfortable, well equipped and a lot more spacious than the listing photos. It felt very homely and we loved the cabin we were in. Alejandro and Eduardo were great hosts and nothing was too much. We also enjoyed the breakfast provided with homemade cakes and breads. We wished we stayed longer and look forward to coming back one day! "

"Pretty nice hostel, pretty basic but standard breakfast better than other hostels I stayed at in the area. A little expensive for a hostel but again that’s just the price you pay in the southern regions. Nice facility and fast wifi, kitchen was fairly large and lots of space to accommodate guests"

"The hotel is located right off Main Street. Easy to find and safe. Bed is very comfortable. No air conditioning. However room was small with tight bathroom. No kleenex. In shower pumps for shampoo not maintained. Breakfast was modest and was the only hotel we stayed at that did not offer cappuccinos/lattes. "

"The hotel building looks brand new and so is everything inside which makes the hotel extremely convenient. It's a 3 minute walk from the bus stop which is why we chose it, but it's about 20 minutes from the main street downtown. There are a couple of restaurants close by but we mostly took a taxi downtown for meals, costs about 3 USD each way. There is no air conditioning and it can get warm inside the room on a sunny day even if it's cool outside. Only part of the window opens so it wasn't easy to cool the room down. They should have considered a ceiling fan. The rooms are impeccably clean. The mattress was average in terms of comfort. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. They call taxis for you and even exchange your dollars for you. The breakfast was great with made to order eggs and it's available as early as 630am. Overall a great stay."

"This is a nice, clean, comfortable little hotel outside of town. It has its own small restaurant which is only open in the evening but makes a great gin & tonic and decent food. The breakfast is a step above many that I have had on this trip With hot scrambled eggs being a welcome plus. The rooms are normal size and beds comfortable. Recommend second floor so you can open the windows to let in fresh air. Wonderful sitting room at the top of the building! Staff was very helpful and friendly and attentive. "
