"Stayed at The Kargil in late March. Great property. Well done & clean rooms. Very welcoming & helpful staff. Daniel, the manager at the hotel, was also super-helpful in accomodating some last minute changes in our itinerary. The hotel is an oasis amid the hustle and bustle of Kargil and great base to explore surrounding areas of Drass and Suru valley. Highly recommended hotel if you are staying in this region"

"The manager and staff were absolutely wonderful. We ended up staying a second time when we had to return early from a trip. Location was great because it was away from the busy areas but walkable into Leh Market, etc. in just 10 minutes. Nice family feel to the place, would highly recommend. "
