"We didn't actually stay at Munna Palace, as the management transferred us to Hotel Malik Residency, next door, owned by same group. Munna did not seem ready or aware of our booking, and I think they wanted to make up for this and gave us a room with a view. This was after the promised airport shuttle did not arrive. "The room was relly stink on arrival. Smelly and sheets haven't been washed for a long time. Was told that blanket was washed 2 months ago. The room was really cold and heat was turned on for like only 3 hours from 8pm. The stair case was a difficult task due to design and low atmospheric pressure in the region. We were assigned the third floor. Expedia charged 5000inr for this room, it was learnt from hotel personnel that that room goes for 1500inr. So we were charged over 3 times the price by...

"This is the most tranquil hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. From the calming music on the lower floor to the super-chill staff and the saffron tea. The elevators with a mountain view on the far side, the corridors, everything. It’s all very relaxing. The room is well appointed, great views and a high-tech tv if that’s something you’re looking for. A comfy chair and a delightful bathroom."

"A perfect 10/10 stay at this stunning property in Nubra Valley! It’s one the most beautiful & well equipped resorts I have had the chance to stay in Ladakh. The rooms are nothing short of spectacular. They are spacious, clean and very thoughtfully designed. The attention to detail is commendable. The food & spa facilities were something that I was pleasantly surprised with. I haven’t had better food in Ladakh! 🙌"

"I really enjoyed both my stays at The Pal. It's a very nice property, well-kept, a convenient short walk from the main market. The stroll down the street never got old. The room was tidy. The shower was plenty refreshing after an 8-day trek. Breakfast was good. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time at The Pal and look forward to staying again next time I visit wonderful Leh. "

"A very simple property in Leh but really good value. And the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond. They even stored our luggage for us as we went for an 8-day trek. The location is also perfect for exploring the main downtown plaza. Simple facilities but the staff more than make up for this."
