"Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Linens and towels smelled amazing! Quiet, other than some street noise. Very tall windows which were unable to be covered completely so room was not dark at night. Bed was too hard for my liking. Nobody was at front desk at all during our stay. Keys were left on front counter in an envelope. A bit of a safety issue in my opinion. No deadbolt on door of room, just a small flip lock."

"The property owners were very nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. The reference in the listing to a picnic on the beach seems mis-leading. You do have a nice view over the river and we had a pretty sunset but no beach. The house looks nicer in the pictures than in person although it is large and accommodated our needs. There are a lot DIY renovations that pretty odd but didn't really interfere with our stay. Just not as luxurious as represented. I should acknowledge I manage some rental...

"The hotel was very empty not sure why I was placed in a room with a view of the roof on the second floor. The restaurant was nice. There was hair on the bathroom floor and a wrapper under the sink counter but otherwise clean. Found street parking right outside the entrance late evening which was nice. "

Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Peoria - Riverfront, an IHG Hotel

Short trip

"Made a short weekend trip to the area and found this hotel to be perfect. The service was good. Our room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the bathroom layout compared to other hotels where the toilet is right next to the shower, this bathroom had its own space. Breakfast was decent. Overall nice stay."
