"An excellent vacation place, close to the beach and the town, yet peacefully far from others. The other cabins are uninhabited around it so we were all alone. The owners are great, they made us feel welcome with little extras like the bikes and body boards to use, the coffee and soaps. The cabin is well done with nice materials and a good layout for everyone to be comfy. The AC was very nice on hot nights. Only thing I would warn about is that the loft beds are very high, so not for young kids....

"The house has a lovely large garden (shared with another property) for the kids to run around, play, outdoor shower etc. It is located in a green area rigth next to some woods and the access road to the lake (boat/canoeing/SUP etc, but no swimming allowed - i still went out on some great morning swims). The lake is quite beautiful and you can run/walk around on a very nice path (ca 14km). A larger road is just outside the property and you will hear the cars, but our kids were louder during the...

"We loved the property - located in a very quiet private street in the woods but walking distance from the lake. The property had a great communal living area which was very well equipped, three good sized bedrooms and a fabulous balcony for eating and relaxing outside looking out over the forest. Really appreciated the air conditioning. Loved the area in general and being able to choose between the lake or the ocean was great."

"We chose low season for quietness & relaxation.....it was perfect for us. We were able to take our dog too! Managed to catch a beautiful sunset! 🌇 Lots of great forest walks to choose from, lakes to visit etc We really enjoyed the spa facilities every day. Not far from fabulous sandy beaches, Mimizan-Plages has a lot of restaurants to choose from! Massages by Chloé were wonderful."
