"This has to be one of if not the favourite property we have stayed in anywhere in the world! A combination of brilliant hosts, a lovely house and a stunning location are hard to beat. Oliver and Maria were attentive hosts with lots of communication before and during our trip and they were happy to assist with pretty much everything from arrival shopping, car hire and organising wonderful massages for all the family, we really couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The house is lovely, permeated with the incredible smell of orange blossoms (orange tress in the garden!) with lots of gardens and coffee on the balcony in the morning with that view of the mountains…There are lots of amazing mountain hikes, both on the doorstep and within 10km, we did some stunning routes taking in lovely villages like Pampaneiro, really not to be missed. This really is an awesome place to have a holiday, the house has everything you need, inside and out including aircon in all the rooms, a lovely pool, incredible mountain location a short walk from a lovely town with restaurants, shops, bars and lovely cafes. "

"My husband, son aged 14 and daughter aged 12 stayed at Sigi’s place for 14 nights. The setting is beautiful. The villa itself is simple and very stylish with everything you need. The pool is definitely the best pool we have ever had with the most amazing picture perfect backdrop. The children spent hours in it playing volleyball. During our stay we did ‘El Caminito del Rey’ which was a great experience but it’s a bit of a drive (2 hours). Closer by and definitely not to be missed, is the Alhambra and the Albaicín area of Granada. We also went horse riding locally and did a sunset hike. Both great experiences. Sigi’s place is a lovely to get away from it all. We didn’t really venture into Órgiva town centre much other than to get groceries as BBQing at the villa was so lovely. There are some picturesque little villages to visit which are only a 25 min drive away. Sigi is a great host and responds quickly! Barney and his wife Sarah look after the pool and garden and Clara does the cleaning. All really great and lovely to chat to 😊"

"A beautiful small hotel with outstanding views. Although it is up a steep hill, the hotel, although basic, is everything you need for a few days stay. The restaurant next door is very good, and used by touists and locals alike. If you are hiking, the hotel has lots of info on trails and is near the start of most main routes."

"Simple hotel on the edge of Orgiva. Recommend top floor rooms with a large terrace and a balcony to enjoy the view over the surrounding mountains. Room was large, spotlessly clean and with a great bathroom. Would have appreciated a hairdryer, modern pillows and better soap and towels but all in all it was great value"

"Lovely, spacious and well appointed property. The gardens are very well kept and all our needs were catered for. The children loved the space, pool and play area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh, clean and tidy. It is secure and safe environment and we will use it again. The owners are really nice people and were available if we needed anything. Good value for the money paid. Thank you to our host. James"
