"When I arrived at the accommodation, I called the owner. There was no reply. A car arrived and a woman came to assist me. She states that the owner was away and I could not access the accommodation. She very kindly gave me a lift to a neighbouring town where I found a hotel. "

"Perfectly situated for walkers and cyclists. We were visiting family. Only minor complaint is that coffee and water in the room were t checked by housekeeping we had to ask at reception. "

"When we arrived we were greeted by our host, shown our room which was large and had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, also with a sofa bed, patio doors onto a private balcony overlooking the mountains. There was no snow close by but we were assured it may snow anytime. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you"

We would definitely recommend this place and would love come back some day. Orgiva is a very friendly town. "My husband, son aged 14 and daughter aged 12 stayed at Sigi’s place for 14 nights. The setting is beautiful. The villa itself is simple and very stylish with everything you need. The pool is definitely the best pool we have ever had with the most amazing picture perfect backdrop. The children spent hours in it playing volleyball. During our stay we did ‘El Caminito del Rey’ which was a great experience but it’s a bit of a drive (2 hours). Closer by and definitely not to be missed, is the Alhambra and the Albaicín area of Granada. We also went horse riding locally and did a sunset hike. Both great experiences. Sigi’s place is a lovely to get away from it all. We didn’t really venture into Órgiva town centre much other than to get groceries as BBQing at the villa was so lovely. There are some picturesque little villages to visit which are only a 25 min drive away. Sigi is a great host and responds quickly! Barney and his wife Sarah look after the pool and garden and Clara does the cleaning. All really great and lovely to chat to 😊"

"Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The cottage, the view and especially the pool were a perfect peaceful place for us to totally relax and spend quality time in between our adventures throughout the region. The cottage felt very private because it had enough property of its own surrounding it and it is separated from the other house where other guests stay. The pool was a highlight- it was large, well maintained and although technically shared with a couple of others who may be in the other guest house, it had a designated area for us with chairs and umbrella, so it felt very much our own. Oliver and Maria were amazing hosts, responsive and very knowledgeable - willing to help with all our questions about everything local. The details in decor and care of the property are evidence of how invested they are in what they are offering their guests. Their welcome book had great recommendations for activities, food and more. I highly recommend this property for a family or other small group who either wants to stay put and enjoy all the peace it has to offer or use it as a home base for exploring the area. "Lovely, spacious and well appointed property. The gardens are very well kept and all our needs were catered for. The children loved the space, pool and play area. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding was fresh, clean and tidy. It is secure and safe environment and we will use it again. The owners are really nice people and were available if we needed anything. Good value for the money paid. Thank you to our host. James"
