"I couldn't keep my mouth shut up after seeing huge backyard. I was so satisfied with well-organized house for family guest. We didn't have any reasons to complain because hosts already prepared to relax, cook and barbeque. We could enjoy a great barbeque with beautiful sunset. In addition, it was so close to stunning gypsum mine lake and spot for whale-watcing. I strongly recommend the two spots that touched my family if you stay this awsome house. (I'm Korean, so plz understand my mis or confusing-expresseions)"

"We stayed one night and found this to be the best of the five places we stayed in during our trip to Nova Scotia. The building is a charming house with 8 suites and an outdoor hot tub. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Extra amenities such as snacks and water in the room were appreciated. We’d definitely stay here again."

"The Mactoimin Cottage was perfect for us. We were out early every morning for hikes and back late in the day. A couple days we were back early for coffee on the porch and soaks in the hot tub. Heavenly. The best part perhaps was that we were three minutes from the sunsets on the beach! Stunning. We did not do any cooking, other than coffee. I was a wee bit surprised how close to the road we were, but there were barely any cars that went by. The owners were so kind, even when I called one night at 8:30 p.m. to report I had lost the key on one of our hikes! Very gracious. The place worked perfectly for us, and we wouldn't hesitate to return. "
