"This is not easy to find - tucked away in the hamlet above Canfin. (Drive past Candin for 1km and there’s a sign on the left). The hotel has beautiful outdoor seating under a thatch and lovely walks around. But what makes it so special is the quality of the cooking - they do an evening meal for guests, with full use of local products, especially the chestnuts and figs. We had spiced figs in our main dish of perfectly long-cooked beef, and home-made marrons glacé on our delicious lemon...

Nous n’avons pas rencontré Mercedes mais nos échanges écrits et téléphoniques ont été très sympathiques. Seul petit bémol: site éloigné de toute commodité donc véhicule indispensable."
