"The room was freezing, there was no phone in the room to contact reception and the night receptionist did not know a word of English. The only restaurant in the hotel, which was also the only restaurant in that area, started serving at 8:00 p.m. and served only two soups and three rustic dishes, none of which could be eaten. It didn't even have a menu to choose from, and it was immediately filled with drunken men. It was like a nightmare for a family with children."

No menu for the evening meal, but the choices given by the staff were delicious. The best thing (and all US travellers will appreciate this), you can drive right up to the front of the hotel and PARK YOUR CAR! No charge! There should be six stars for this! No driving around looking for a white line, free parking spot (if you find one, it's usually a long ways from your hotel), and no worries about your rental car being parked in some spot you hope you can remember where it is, and that it's safe. Hotel Roca is also conveniently located by several supermarkets, ATM's (in case you need to get Euros using your debit or charge card), and the sea. (We didn't go to the beach, but staff can give you directions.) The only teeny, tiny downside is the mattress is firm, and we are used to a super soft one. But that is not the hotel's fault. Everything was perfect! We couldn't have chosen a better hotel!"
