"The sunset views of the ocean and mountains were absolutely breathtaking!! The house is on a large property in the mountains, and it's perfectly quiet, and the host was extremely helpful and kind. The huge deck is the star of the show—we spent mornings watching the sunrise over the Pacific and evenings soaking in the sunset with a glass of wine. We really loved that the house is right next to the state park with hiking trails that lead to a lake or the ocean, so you're completely surrounded by nature. We hiked scenic trails just up from the house, spotted wildlife, and enjoyed the fresh ocean air. It's the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. That said, keep in mind that it's about a 15-20 minute drive to the nearest market, so plan ahead with groceries and supplies. But honestly, that’s part of what makes this place so special—it’s a true retreat! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning views, total privacy, direct access to nature, and 15 minutes to Malibu's most loved beaches, this is the perfect spot!"

"If you're looking for a place to base, that's close to everything, yet feels like you're out of the city, this is the place! I cant say enough about how serene and peaceful the property is. The view of the ocean is absolutely beautiful and every room has a view of it. There's another sitting area on the property that overloooks a vineyard and canyon. Little frogs greet you at night and you're far enough from the city to see the stars. Such a great little hidden gem!"

"Absolutely stunning. The house itself and all the modern art that fills it is so chic and fun. The property is beautiful—from the house & pool area, koi moat, and of course to the view at the top of the ground’s little uphill hike. Plus, the beds were super comfy lol So happy I found this place to surprise and celebrate my fiancé on his bday weekend and we hope to have another staycation here in the future!"
