"This house was just what we needed for a long weekend away from rainy Seattle. The house was so comfortable and perfectly situated on the property. Took advantage of the hiking trails down to the hot springs where we have ultimate privacy on a crisp fall morning. House had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were very comfortable and the decor was tasteful and functional and stylish. Hot tub under the stars was perfect, fire pit watching the moonrise, magical! Kitchen was adequately stocked and had everything needed. Our favorite part about the house was its secluded location, perfectly situated to feel like we were the only people around. Just what these city dwellers needed! Distance to town was about 15-20 min."

"This place has 360 views of the mountains and you can see Rio Grande Gorge from the bedroom! It’s quiet, private and peaceful. My favorite part was soaking in the hot tub as the sun went down and the moon light glistened on the snow of the mountain peaks! Wonderful place to relax. "

"We visited for our 25th anniversary and had a wonderful time. We loved everything about the property: It was cozy and luxurious, and the view was magnificent. It was easy to find, and the hosts left plenty of good information about the area and even gave us an anniversary card. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We are very familiar with Earthships and love the earthy nature of the Dobson Earthship in Taos. The road to the 6,000 sq. ft. Earthship was dirt. warn and rutted by their recent torrential rains. Our all wheel drive was sufficient to navigate the several miles of dirt roads. The host, Brenda is wonderful and very knowledgeable about Michael Reynold's architecture. Lots of beautifully designed steps to climb so be prepared for the exercise. Not for the physically weak or impaired. You want a good taste of authentic Earthship life that can accommodate more than two if you take friends, the Dobson Earthship may be a good choice. "
