"Lovely clean place to stay and friendly accommodating staff! The fireplace and access to water/wine/teas/coffee was such a nice touch and made for a cozy and relaxing night. I stayed in the Sankaty Head room and the only complaints are this room is next to the front door so you will hear people coming/going and I found the mattress very lumpy and uncomfortable. "Loved the room except the heating/automatic fireplace was a little frustrating to figure out. We asked the maid for only towels on day one and then didn’t get a visit from her again (we stayed 4 nights) Maybe she misunderstood There was what sounded like a large gathering with music and loud bass that lasted til midnight all 4 nights we were there. I don’t blame the hotel, but wouldn’t stay there again for that reason."
