Arenal Family Home - Families & Friends Getaway

Excellent property located 1 mile from downtown La Fortuna, the house is a great option for families traveling together, friends and couples. There is 5 bedrooms with A/C, also a central unit located in the living room and kitchen area will keep you fresh and cool after the daily adventures and 3.5 bathrooms. Besides the swimming pool area surrounded by beautiful gardens with tropical flowers, great view of the Arenal Volcano from the house.

A large house located just 2 minutes away from town (Driving), located in a very secluded, private and secure neighborhood; where you can relax and enjoy the comfort that all areas of the house give you. There are 5 rooms so is an excellent option for family meetings or friends meeting, even we can a plan an event in the open areas. You will have everything you want taking this property for you next Costa Rica vacation.

We have a small Tour Office named The House of Tours, which can organize any transportation from/to La Fortuna and any place in Costa Rica with bilingual drivers, comfortable units with A/C (Toyota Hi-Ace or Hyundai H1 2017/2018/2019 models) and excellent customer service. Also we can help you plan your tours in La Fortuna with the best rates, just let us know what you have on your mind and we will help you creating an itinerary during your stay.

Excellent property to enjoy the rain forest, relax and be a bit away but close enough to explore La Fortuna and Arenal volcano area.

The owners live a few meters away, they will offer traditional Costa Rican food for a good price, once you book they we will send you the Menu options; if you want to try an excellent and original cuisine go for it, just let us know and we can plan any meals for you.

Also we work with Nativo Chef, Sergio and his staff will come to the house offering excellent international menu with great service, once you book we will send you their contact information.

Wonderful property for families
We stayed here with two other families and it was perfect. The shallow pool offered them ease for swimming, and the house was located close to downtown and other amenities.

Great family house
We had a wonderful stay. Our group of 9 people had 4 kids aged 4-7 and the pool area was perfect for them! There are plenty of beds and seating area in the house to accommodate quite large groups.

The host was extremely nice and accommodating to our large party. The pool and large house with lots of sleeping areas was perfect for our large family gathering! We loved the outdoor area and the homemade meals!

While we kept ourselves busy throughout the days of our stay, it was so nice to come back to a relaxing and comfortable house in Fortuna. The house and outdoor space were perfect for our group, and provided entertainment for everyone!

The on-site owners were amazing and we felt like family. The on-site restaurant meals were SO good, fresh and and varied. You could choose American or Costa Rican for the meals and we LOVED all of them! We were so sad to leave, you must stay here and enjoy the family traditions and love of Costa Rica!

Lovely clean home close to town
The home is in a good location just south of downtown Fortuna. Only a 5 min drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Very clean and typical to the area. The hosts live right next door and were very helpful when we needed something.

Nice, big house with lovely grounds and a fun pool!
Our group of 15 family members really enjoyed staying here. The pool was great and there was plenty of room. At our request, the owner prepared an authentic Costa Rican dinner for our group. The shaded balcony had a great view of the volcano.

Seven Day Intro To Costa Rica
Our family had a terrific time staying at Eder & Allen's property. While we were not off on a fun adventure, booked for us by Allen at Home Vacation Properties, we were chilling poolside just taking in the perfect temperature that Costa Rica had to offer. Great Home in LaFortuna
We had a wonderful stay at this property! The owners live in a separate house on the property and we’re very welcoming. You only see them when you need them so you have a lot of privacy. We had Eder book all of our excursions and they were fantastic. We are already planning our next trip to LaFortuna!!

Authentic and prim location
Our two families (8 people) enjoyed our stay. The property is so close to town yet out of town on a secure property. The home owner and family live on property and hosted us for an authentic Tico meal ($18 each and worth it) they are lovely people to visit with. The pool was great too. Eder manages the rental and is super helpful with our rental car and other advice.

We had a lovely time staying at Arenal Family Home. Spacious, well stocked and walking distance to La Fortuna. Giselle was very helpful, especially when we forgot to get milk from the store or had trouble ordering food from a local restaurant. The vacation rental manager helped us with transportation. Jesus, our driver, was informative and kept us tranquilo in Pura Vida style! Highly recommend Arenal Family Home.

Convenient location, loads of space
Just south of town about 1km. You can walk to town, but I recommend driving. A few blocks from one of the better dining experience we had in CR (Tiquicia Restaurant). Super close to an awesome local swim hole (El Salto rope swing).
