The hoetl is a bit 'tatty' but the room was clean and the bed comfotable, a good shower and the air conditioning in one of the rooms was brilliant. In the other room we had booked it wasn;t working an the hotel staff said they would try to get it fixed but nothing was sorted, or a change of room offered. "A really nice, boutique hotel, but reception staff on arrival were not friendly, unsmiling and were unhelpful. As wine professionals, we wanted to taste some tank samples of unfinished wine in the bar. The staff wanted to charge us €15 corkage per bottle, even though we were not going to drink these wines. We would have bought a bottle to drink after the professional tasting. Having stayed here for so many years, I was really disappointed with the reception."

"Spotless rooms. decor was a bit old though and bizarrely, apart from one hook on bathroom door there were no hooks to hang towels ! A small fridge in the room would be good, along with maybe actual glasses instead of disposable plastic covered paper ones. Finally the shower connected to the tap with no fixing on the wall is a really BAD idea and impossible to have a proper shower! Loo paper dispenser was more akin to petrol station WC that a hotel. "
