Walking around the village felt like stepping a back in time. If you plan ahead by getting a few groceries on you way into town you will be all set for a perfect stay. "

"The hotel is situated in a great location, only a few minutes away from the station. Although the building and room was a little dated, the room had a balcony, air conditioning and a great pool! There was a great selection for breakfast and we were able to continue using the facilities after check out! Great staff and great stay!"

"Lovely spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The owner/manager(and family) was very helpful. Great location for young children with the local beach sloping gently for quite away out. A few cafe's close by and some of the beaches had toilets and showers. However, as the apartment was so close to the beach this did not matter. Included car parking spot in underground garage was very useful as there was parking charges for the carpark and street parking. Local supermarket was about 1km away and other super markets shopping was a little further away. I think you could get away without hiring a car as the railway was quite close. Toddler pool and main pool were very clean and well maintained. There was a lifeguard on the beach directly in front of apartment. The area itself seems like a locals area and is not overrun by tourists. We would defiantly stay at the apartment again and really love the area."

"My stay in Hotel Basic was pretty good. Staff was great and super friendly. The room was very comfortable, nothing fancy but the mattress was probably the best I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Recommended."
