Great location, close to shopping and the palace was only 15 minutes away. Many transportation options nearby, we caught a bus line just five minutes away from the hotel. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

Great hotel, very clean. It is within the area where are all the shops, restaurants, and the nikishi market 3-4 blocks away. There is a bus station just 1 block from the hotel where you can go to several tourist points. Breakfast was amazing.

A very pleasant stay, the fact that there is a mini launderette available is much appreciated. There was a slight smell in the room that I couldn't place, not unpleasant, maybe slightly chemical? I think it may have from the air conditioning as it was more noticeable when I came back after being out all day. That was the only issue, otherwise an excellent base for Kyoto sightseeing and travel further afield.
