"This was my fourth stay at Hotel Avra. It's clean, for great views and super close to the port. My only complaint is partly my fault. I accidentally booked the wrong day as I was flustered with a last minute flight change. The hotel refused to honor the reservation for the correct date even though they had more than enough rooms available both days and I caught the mistake within an hour of booking. (I had actually booked the room after check-in time and meant to do it for the next day.) Multiple calls and emails from Hotels.com and myself but the response was not in my favor. "

"Cabo Verde was very clean, quiet, comfortable, reasonably priced and convenient. Pretry views! The staff was welcoming, professional and friendly. The only thing that needs attention is the shower head in our room, which was cracked and sprayed out toward the floor. Other than that, we had a great stay. "
