"The cabin and location were amazing. Everything noted about the cabin was spot on. We arrived late in the evening and were impressed as soon as we walked in. The cabin is cozy and welcoming. We only had 2 people staying and the size was perfect. There was an additional bedroom that we never used. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pots, pans, and utensils. "This was a peaceful spot on west shore with two bedrooms -- one for us and one for our kids. The communication with the owner and check in process were as easy as can be. The only constructive note is that some of the cookware was not quite clean (and the tea pot no longer whistles, so pay close attention to your boiling water!). "Three of us spent happy days & nights in this small cabin. Away from the highway in a sylvan development, the spot is a three-minute walk from gorgeous woods and granite outcrops. We stayed in late January, when few of the nearby cabins are occupied and the walk down to the cabin from the road is pretty icy. "Great house with great views of the lake! It does get very hot in the summer, and like most Tahoe homes there is not central AC. The only downside with this home was that many of the windows open up at the bottom rather then from the top, which made us concerned about our dogs staying with us."

It was challenging getting to the property because of a severe snow storm, but once we arrived everything was as advertised.The amenities were excellant with 3 fireplaces, a pool table, hot tub, steam room & dry sauna. "We loved our time at this Tahoe City home. The host was super helpful and responsive, and even accommodated early check in/late check out for us. It was just the right amount of space for 2 young families with kids, had an amazing view of the lake and was close to ski mountains. All in all a great stay. My only note for potential renters in the winter is that the driveway is steep and can get icy. Definitely took some management and were glad we had 4WD cars."

"I booked this place because it was pet friendly, had a hot tub, and looked private. The space itself is pretty dated, but has some modern updates with a nice kitchen. The location is great! The house was very clean. We did have someone who said they worked for the property stop by unannounced to look at a camera. That was a little weird since I was in the hot tub. Overall a positive experience and very comfortable. "

"Comfortable, clean and cozy. My family and our dogs enjoyed our stat and will try to book a stay in the summer as well to enjoy the swimming pool. The hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Just know that the pool is indoor but in a non insulated pool room so it’s way too cold for a dip. A very pleasant stay with comfortable spaces and a well stocked kitchen. Thanks again!"

"Beautiful home. Thank you for our stay. If I’m being critical. For what we paid and other families, the home could have been stocked better. We did make our own dinner, the home had no basic ingredients such as salt and pepper. The toilet paper was super cheap and the bedroom tv can be upgraded, the dvd player is literally hanging by wires. Overall the home was very nice and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you. "

"Our family enjoyed the stay, close to Heavenly. There was some stuff we forgot to take, but no worries it had the stuff we needed. Rooms are spacious living area as well the kitchen was a little tight, but other than that we had a great time. The kids saw the landline phone and were in Awe, They said “I thought those only existed in the 1900’s”. Would book again. "
