"A unique property away from the hustle. Stunning ocean front views were breathtaking. Access was a mission with 282 steps (yes we counted) and with the rain we had to wait for it to stop so we could venture out. Also, there is a 300 meter narrow one way road from the main road to the top of the carpark (before the steps). Drivers were good at navigating this windy road. "Fantastic stay at this rustic, cliff-top resort. Staff were exceptional with frequent check in to ensure we were having a good stay. The View restaurant is perched atop the cliff face and forges panoramic views of Kuta and the Indian Ocean. Food, drinks and service all great. "Nice place. No huge windows in the room but if you’re not staying in too much, it shouldn’t be an issue. The place could use a little more TLC but overall, for the price, it wasn’t bad at all. There aren’t that many restaurants walkable to this place but taking a scooter was super easy. "

"This is a very small hotel, maybe only 6-7 rooms all facing onto the pool. The room is clean and comfortable. The people are very sweet and helpful. Breakfast is a choice of eggs with fruit, juice and toast which they bring to your room for the time you request it. The only thing is that our shower head was coming out of the wall. You could still shower though. You can also hire scooters from the hotel"

"This boutique type hotel is an absolute gem! Clean, great location, comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast options, and the service is top notch. Everyone who works there goes above and beyond. "This was the best family home stay. Everything that you need, you can get from the comforts of your room. If you want to adventure out, surf, beaches, and shopping are nearby. The staff were so awesome and accommodating. The rooms were clean and included all the comforts of home, if we wanted to cook at our room. The pool was perfect for the kids. "We booked and paid for two rooms and only got one with one bed only. The room was putrid smelling and there was noisy contruction going on as well. You had to climb through the construction to get to the airport and breakfast."

"My husband and I stayed here for a few weeks. It wasn't bad-the bed and pillows were comfortable comfortable (and I'm pregnant). The staff was nice and the view from the location are really beautiful. My only complaint is that they should invest in few towels- they had such a rough texture (like sand paper) and were stained most of the time. "

"No staff on premises at all to help with problems. Internet worked off and on. A very loud frog was living somewhere in my room. Towels were dirty, Very loud construction going on during daytime hours. No office on premises. We left after one night even though we'd paid for three nights. Oh. And the door locks don't work well. Hard to lock and a neighbor couldn't get theirs back open to get their things out. And no one there to help with any of this. "

A Four Seasons Classic

"All of the Four Seasons we have visited are excellent. But the device and attention to detail here were next level. Our room with a plunge pool and view of Jimbaran bay was excellent We ate at three restaurants and for the first time I'd say the dinner buffet was best. French pastry chef who made magnificent deserts. Fresh fish Balinese style, Tuna sashimi was melti in your mouth. We enjoyed a complimentary cocktail reception where we met other guests and F&B Manager Michel and GM Nicolas. Interesting to hear about running a large resort. It is along way from home but we would go back to enjoy all the resort has to offer."

"My partner and I ended our Bali Trip at The Anantara and it was the best of 5 resorts we experienced over the duration of our visit. -Phenomenal views -Central to the local bars and shops -Amazing staff who always greet you with a smile(: Well definitely be staying here again."

"Lots of monkeys at the property!! Felt quite safe. Just have to becareful with food laying around the monkeys will come snatch you!! Hotel staff usually helps looking after you. I get to witness a monkey stealing the lobby cookie jar!! It was hilarious!! The monkeys don’t bother me, entertainment and drama everyday :) "
