"Love love love Tokyo stay and this one doesn’t disappoint. People complain about it being a short walk from the train station but seriously it’s still close. Just past a park and lots of combini near by. The rooms is so comfortable. You can get out of bed on either side. Of course the laundry machine is the highlight. They provide detergent and all instructions. They offer bag storage and overall it’s very easy and comfortable to stay there. I’d highly recommend it over something like an APA....

"The property is great for families, with ample space. It's only a few minutes walk to local bus to get to Hakata Station which is about 10 minutes away. There is no manned checkin, just a do it yourself process which was ok. No one to help order taxis or assist with issues with room such as no knives or cooking items like a saucepan. Overall we were happy with it, is better than staying in a small hotel room."

"Excellent communication instructions ahead of arrival and we are fully aware of what to expect with the unmanned hotel check in. The place is unclean - the elevator is fully of dust on the wall and you can smell the old dusty smell. The cleaner ladies obviously sees it everyday and choose to ignore it as it’s the exact same for the 4 nights we stayed. "I had a terrible experience. I arrived with three kids and my elderly parents, tired at 8 pm. There was no receptionist. The doors of the hotel were closet and all the instructions to check in were in Japanese. The check in process required to call a Japanese land line. "The lobby area looks grand but the furniture in the room is so old! The bedsheet and pillow covers are yellowish, look like no one used or being moved for a very long time! The staff are nice though"

"No elevator. The reception is on 2nd floor. The ground floor is with strong cigarette smell. My reservation was for a non-smoking room. However, there was cigarette smell (via A/C?). And, I saw a man (a guest?) smoking in front of the reception desk. The staff was friendly and willing to help. They carried my bag up to my room (on 3rd floor) and down to the ground floor. It could be a good choose for smokers and weight lifters."

"The spa was clean with all amenities easily accessible. The room has a workable desk oriented for business stays. Most of the stuff is professionally nice. Considering the budget offered by this hotel is stealing. I would come back to this place for my next visit to Tosu."
