"Excellent hardworking staff always cleaning when there's no check-ins , food though is scarce ...for breakfast , no fruits , no jams, no orange juice , hotel is brand new and kept new .water in vending machine remained empty , there r 2 conbenis about 300 metres at jr rail STN . "

"The area around the property is so beautiful! I loved waking up in the morning & seeing the forest outside. My room was very clean and the front desk service very friendly. I really enjoyed the dinner & breakfast service (everything tasted amazing!~) and the morning meditation ceremony was memorable. Everyone at the temple are so kind and helpful."

"This is the best Hostel to book on any budget. Since it is also a cafe the interior is upper nice and modern looking. As in the name, the interior is all made of wood and has that amazing wood smell that makes you feel so welcomed and at peace. The boy at the counter was super helpful and great at guiding me through the check in/ check out process. They have free amenities such as towels, toothbrushes, and even have washing machines and dryers. Their WiFi works super well, and overall I had an amazing stay. It was super quiet and you could sleep in peace. This was the best nights sleep I’ve had in all of Japan :) thank you so much, I will be staying here the next time I’m in Japan FOR SURE!!"

"My family had a truly amazing stay here. One of the best experiences of our trip through Japan. The temple and surrounding area is beautiful. The staff spoke excellent English and the vegetarian food was great. Get up for the morning prayers if you can. "
