"There is a port nearby, and if the port isn’t operational you can get a ticket with a bus included to the other port. There’s also some cafe and a super market very nearby, and a small beach. Nice place, enjoyable for your Iriomote adventures"

"Beautiful location with its own beach right out the door. The owner was very kind and spoke excellent English. He helped me sign up for excursions and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinners with a view of the beach. Amazing part of the island and highly recommended "

"We really like the location, it’s near the beach, but then we found out that beach has a lot of jellyfish, so we cannot swim in the ocean there. We were there with 2 little kids, two and four years old, we had to walk to the office to check in then bring all of our stuff to the cabin ourselves, we ask if she can help but the lady was not able to offer any help. "La Teada is a beautiful resort, our room had clearly been remodeled not so long ago and was quite clean comfortable. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The resort grounds were also very natural and beautiful. The bath house was also wonderful. On the negative side, I was sad we couldn't see more of the ocean from our room. Also, the resort is extremely stingy with their facial tissues. The tissues in the room were so small, they were difficult to use, like one regular-sized tissue cut...

"My partner and I stayed for two nights and loved it at Irumote So! The room was spacious, the hosts are so lovely, and the hostel is equipped with everything you need. The rooftop patio was a beautiful place to watch the sun set. It’s a little far from town but the hosts will pick you up and drop you off from the ferry terminal. There’s a restaurant nearby which was great for dinners both nights. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in Iriomote. "

"Room very small, JPY 22,400 for 2 with b.f is very overpriced. Without a car you are stuck, b.f only served until 8:00 AM. Dinner only available upon reservation until 7:00 PM and costs JPY 4,000 per person which makes your stay very expensive, if you have no rental car to go out and you have to order meals at the hotel. Pool is small but nice but beach is full of litter and as a pebble beach not very attractive for a swim. If you want to have it very quiet, it's great as there is nothing around...

"We are so pleased to have stayed 7 nights at HIRUGI. The staff helped us prior to arrival with car rental and restaurant reservations (we don't speak Japanese). The lady of the house is SUPER hospitable (speaks French too). So many positive aspects including tips on New Year activities taking place and a traditional dinner organized. We were the only couple there most nights, few other guests during our stay, so we mostly had the place to ourselves. We would definitely stay again and recommend...

"Beautiful property with a great pool and convenient access to the beach as well. Only suggestion would be to offer a restaurant where we can order a meal as all four dining options were either buffet or set course menus. All of which way overpriced so we ended up going into the city after Day 2 instead. Otherwise a great experience and would recommend this property to anyone travelling to Ishigaki!"

"Love everything about this hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was amazing, and the room was clean. The location was close to the shopping center, so it took less than 10 minutes to walk there. Would definitely return on our next trip to Ishigaki."

"We really enjoyed our stay on the high floors of the Teida building. All the balconies have an amazing view of the Manta city in the Kabira ocean area. The sunsets were amazing. Breakfast was really good with a lot of variety, we were grateful it was available so early since most of the area doesn’t open until almost noon. At first I was nervous when I saw some old guest pictures from ten years ago, but the rooms in Teida have been renovated and are very new and clean. The shop was convenient and has ice cream too, and they gave us new water and towels every day for free. We really loved our stay and would come back again!"
