Kunia Camp is a step back in time. It's a historic plantation village with the vast majority of its houses intact. A lot of the homes are not in good shape but Kunia is still a working agricultural community. Nothing Disney about this place.

"Terrie is such a warm and welcoming host, treats you like Ohana. Excellent location and very nicely supplied with everything you need. Just bring your Aloha spirit and you will enjoy immensely. Walk out the door and in just a few steps and you’re standing in the sand. The views, including the sunrises are incredible. Mellow waves, swimming is easy. Reserved parking, security guards 24/7, laundry rooms, etc. We will be back for sure, mahalo"

"We stayed in the Lanai the entire time. Saw turtles every morning on the beach. Very relaxing and met many great people! Terrie the host was wonderful. "

"An uncomplicated house sitting right on the beach! "No fluff" is not a bad thing, just that the house had exactly what you needed and nothing you did not. Ample sleeping space, multiple bathrooms, easy beachfront access, and an outdoor shower to get the sand off. Easy check-in to boot!Oh, and we counted 14 wild peacocks roaming the property at one time! Really neat for the kids!"

"We had a wonderful stay. Property was as pictured. The biggest challenges we found is that the area you need to drive through to get to the property is very run down. The property is about a 30 min drive from any safe amenity such as a grocery, gas station etc. If you want to just stay in one place your whole trip this is the place. But if you want to explore around it is not. I would have liked the property to have also listed that there were things like - washer and dryer, hair dryer, general...
