Comfortable stay in this clean hotel that serves great Kumamoto-style buffet breakfast. However, the bathroom vanity (sink and mirror) is outside the toilet, facing the twin beds. No on-site parking but you can easily park at the underground carpark that’s just a traffic light away from the hotel at a reasonable rate.

The hotel was conveniently located for me, as there is a huge bus station nearby with just 5 mins of walk. A dozen of restaurants are nearby and there are 2 arcade game centres just around the corner. The public bath was not as good as i expected and it was always crowded. I didnt use it as much but i think it could still be a good experience if you are visiting japan for the first time. I adore the resting area outside of the public bath. The area is equipped with microwave, small tables and seats. I bought food from nearby convenient stores and ate breakfast there daily. The room was on the larger than i expected. I was able to place my luggage on the table when i tidied my stuff. I was overall happy with my stay.

REF 熊本 by VESSEL HOTELS is a good hotel , I must recommend it to my friends. It is located in the center of town, and the popular stores also can be found in there. Such as Daiso , Donki , 業務用 supermarket just opposite, mater donuts and drug and cosmetics store as well. Facilities are nice as well , indoor and outdoor hot spring , free drinks bar during evening and free comics areas.

This hotel has nice friendly staff to greet you at check-in. They provided all the necessary details for the available amenities. The hotel was conveniently located near the bus terminal and Kumamoto Castle. The tram stop was also very close to take you to the train station. The room was clean and quiet. There was no daily room up keep. Instead a bag was dropped off with fresh towels and a bottle of water. You could leave any used towels in this bag to be picked up. Kind of a neat idea to save time for the staff.
