"I booked this property for the benefit of airport shuttle as per information provided on the search. I contacted them through expedia messages and didnt get a reply. I then called them when I reached India which was option 2. Firstly, the number they provided was not the number to call. The person then gave me 2 different numbers. Really good for a remote getaway

"You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful. The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews. The food is a buffet which changes each day. There is also a menu for ordering other food instead (which is where most of the non-indian food is). The rooms are very nice. We did not choose the hot tub option. We got a large balcony amongst the trees. There was no one overlooking us, and I think that is the case on most of the rooms. The staff were very friendly. They helped arrange a tour for us. It does seem that most guests arrange their own driver and tours. I would suggest contacting the hotel before for a list of the sites to see nearby (tea plantation, waterfalls, spice gardens, chocolate factories, etc)... The list is a single page and you would be able to plan your own visits with the driver who takes you to the hotel."

"Tea Terrain Resorts and Spa offers a wonderful escape into nature, with plenty of activities to enjoy right on the property. The resort features a serene sunrise spot, a charming fish pond, and walking paths, making it ideal for guests who want to unwind and explore at a leisurely pace. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and extremely comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet is another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start your day on the right note. However, do keep in mind that the property is quite remote, with not much nearby except for stunning views and tranquility. If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the perfect spot, but it might not be ideal for those wanting easy access to shops or restaurants. Overall, Tea Terrain Resorts and Spa is a great choice for nature lovers and those seeking a peaceful retreat with excellent amenities."

"We stayed three nights at this resort. The greenery around this property is breathtaking! The staff were really helpful and attentive although a few areas can be improved. The last ten minutes or so to get to this place had awful road conditions compared to other roads in Kerala. This is not entirely properly’s fault but they and the other resort owners on the same road should be able to influence the government or pave it at their own expense. The lunch at this pkace was awesome! We should have eaten here everyday! The breakfast and dinner buffet was so so. Also, they were understaffed during these times and could not be as attentive. The buggy service was a hot or miss. We had two senior citizens staying with us and one of them had knee surgery recently and without the buggy it would be almost impossible her to access the hilly terrain. The buggies did not always come on time. However, they apologized and ultimately sent them. We rented a two bedroom property with pool. The place was spotless and beautiful! We will be back again. If you have a car/driver, skip the breakfast or dinner and opt for the lunch gir your half board option. Some of the dishes made to order during lunch are the best I had in Kerala! Thank you again for a memorable stay!"
