"Eine wirklich sehr nette Vermieterin und ebensolche Nachbarn. Das Bett und das Bad sind etwas klein, aber man kommt zurecht. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Heraklion sind fußläufig zu erreichen und selbst Knossos ist nur etwa 8-10 km entfernt. Weiter Ziele z. B. im Süden, Westen, Südwesten sind nur mit Mietwagen zu erreichen bzw. man holt vorher Erkundigungen ein zum ausgebauten Bus-Linienverkehr. Einziger wirklicher Minuspunkt ist die relativ hohe Lautstärke der in der Umgebung des Apartments. Wer...

"Maria cares deeply about your visit and responds to any need. The house is wonderful with a lovely fruit and vegetable garden in the backyard. It is a very short 3 minute walk to the center of the beach and our favorite taverna, Mythos. There was a reserved parking place for our rental car at all times. The outdoor shower was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!"

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"We wanted to experience Crete's culture. You really cannot do that when you stay in a hotel with 500 or your favorite friends!! This Villa is located about 30 minutes from Rethymno. "Set in private garden but within 5 mins walk of shops/café/restaurant this is a lovely property. About 1hour from the airport but in a rural environment it is within 10 mins of beaches and a lot of fascinating archaeological sites and within easy driving distance of many amazing mountain villages. You really need a car but all the local people we met and talked to were lovely and helpful. Ripe grapes over the carport,great selection of herbs in the garden I can't fault it, Shan and Steve Burston...

"Lovely traditional cretan house in a small mountain village. A little difficulty finding it as we arrived very late but we were able to get in touch with the couple who took care of property. The property is very traditional and beautiful, the upstairs terrace spacious, downstairs there were lots of plants and flowers and grapes growing ( tasted delicious! )The locals could not have been friendlier, many of them inviting us into their homes and gifting us with fruit,homemade pies, jam.
