"This place is incredibly charming. The morning breakfast is very German, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. "I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafès and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!"

"I picked this hotel because it was close to Tegel airport, My flight left at 10:45 am and I had a rental car. I parked my car right in front of the hotel. BUT: they were not serving breakfast, in spite of the fact that the website said that breakfast could be bought The worst part is that they would not accept credit card payment. At the end of a trip, people are usually low on cash. I had to walk for 20 minutes each way to get to a U-tube station here I could get some money out from an ATM....

Although it’s technically classed as a private bathroom you have to unlock a side door, walk through an open hallway - with a water boiler and fire exit on the left - and then unlock the bathroom door.
