"We stayed at 5 different properties while in the area including The Surin Phuket. The Rayavadee was certainly the highlight. The jungle meets the beach in the most incredible way. Our bungalow was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and the most luxurious shower. The food was delicious and the spa was amazing. It was definitely a layer back five star experience that didn’t feel stuffy."

"Originally this booking was for three people, please check your invoice/receipt prior to arrival as I had booked for three people only to find the room was somehow defaulted to two people and had to pay an additional 2,520THB. Debit card not accepted as deposit. Air con in Room 7206 was not very good, although sea view and room facilities otherwise were good. Location was excellent."

"This was the perfect start to our Thailand holiday. A beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable. We loved the range of wellness activities on offer without it feeling like a ‘wellness retreat’. The staff are incredible and can’t do enough to help you, super polite and friendly. We also loved the beach club across the road where Varana guests get free use of the beach beanbags. "A well located hotel, situated next to the large night market, a short walk or taxi ride to Nopparat Thara Pier and very close to the Long Tail Boat departure point. There are a number of bars and restaurants very close to the hotel and the beach is just across the road. The rooms are not massive but adequate and we would have liked a larger balcony with furniture but that is if we are being very pedantic.
