"Balhambra Suites is located in a great location near the harbor, Tavernas,stores and shopping, The hotel is older but well maintained, Most rooms are on the second floor with no elevator, There are no screens on the windows or balcony doors. However the cost of the room and location makes up for a few minor negatives."

From viewing the pictures we were not expecting the Kitchenette, we were able to eat cooked breakfasts and dinners on the balconies and made our trips easier and lighter to focus on activities. "My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in September 2024. We loved it. We had a 1 bedroom junior suite with a sea view. The apartment is on the second floor. If you have any mobility problems, please note that there is no lift. The location of the complex is excellent, right on the sea front. The beach, as with many on Kefalonia is stony. "The Anchor Suite was modern and spacious with a large walk in shower, comfortable bed and balcony overlooking the marina. It faced east so we had morning sunshine then shade. The staff, located in the travel centre beside the main door, were very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited on the road outside so we learned to time our arrival back in town between 5 and 6. We would definitely come back again. "
