"There was some miscommunication about our checkin as I wasn't sure how long the train would take from the airport. I thought we would be there at 8pm, although arrived close to 8:30pm with no one there to let us in. Waited another 20 mins for someone to arrive. The apartment was a large unit with plenty of everything. Before the host left, we asked how to operate the washer/dryer, and the instructions given were incorrect, resulting in us wasting a couple hours. The amenities listed on line...

"This location is superb for visiting all the sites in Athens. It is steps away from the metro and all the major sites. The view of the Acropolis from the balcony is stunning, particularly at night. We cannot say enough about our host who was very responsive, energetic and helpful. She referred us to a tour guide and also sent us links to purchase tickets for sites. We also attended a concert at the Herod Atticus Odeon on her suggestion which was a great idea. Thanks Anny!"

"The apartment was large and had all the furnishings and facilities needed for a small family, but most of these were well used and old. The rooms had good aircon, good shower room, kitchen was functional and the lift was working. The area is full of excellent restaurants and bars although this does make noise levels high at night when sitting on the balcony. The metro station is just a 6-10 minutes walk away."
