"This was a lovely property which was located ideally for us as a larger group with a car. It was clean and comfortable and if there was anything we felt was missing, Andrie, the host, immediately went out of her way to provide it. On one of the days my husband became unwell with a stomach bug and Andrie was amazing in terms of going to the pharmacy for us to obtain medications and electrolytes. She was incredibly generous and gracious. She also booked restaurants for us when we needed, and...

"I had a wonderful stay at this holiday rental in Heraklion. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The terrace was a highlight—perfect for morning coffee with a great view of the sea. It’s in a quiet area but still close to local markets and beaches, which made exploring easy. The mix of modern amenities and a bit of local character made it feel welcoming and homely. Would definitely stay here again if I get the chance."

"The property is very well appointed and is big enough for a family of 10 to fit in very comfortably. There are just a few points to mention, you will need a car if staying at this villa as the local town is a good 20-30 minute walk away. Some of the indoor furniture and work surfaces have seen better days but we were impressed with the twice weekly cleaning and the attention to detail. The garden and pool are very well kept. Communication with the owner was excellent and nothing was too much...

"We arrived at our villa and were welcomed by our host who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The villa and pool were both bigger than we expected. The location is idyllic for a serene and peaceful stay with beautiful sunsets and friendly local cats & kittens! There is very little to do in the immediate area so a hire car is essential but we found some beautiful beaches and tavernas just a short drive away. "

Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in kleinen Supermärkten, die etwa 10 Autominuten entfernt sind."

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The villa itself is stunning and extremely well looked after, with housekeeping and pool maintenance twice a week. The owners are exceptional hosts - the house was fully stocked with everything we needed (and more) and we were treated with gifts of bread, pastries and cookies from their bakery during our stay - a real treat. The surrounding area is very quiet but with a local restaurant, supermarket and the owners’ bakery within walking distance...

"Das Haus ist einfach toll. Wer Gastfreundschaft erleben will wie noch nie, der muss hierher. So wie hier, sind wir noch nie verwöhnt worden. Als "Willkommensgeschenk" fanden wir eine noch warme Moussaka vor, einen üppigen Obstteller und einen gefüllten Kühlschrank. Alles war tiptop sauber. Es wurde 2x in der Woche geputzt und Wäsche gewechselt, zusätzlich wurden wir mit griechischen Leckereien verwöhnt. Absolut bemerkenswert. Der Pool ist super gepflegt. Leider war das Wasser im Oktober schon...

"We had such a good time at Emmanoyil's house. The pool, outdoor shower, backyard and view are amazing. The drive to the house is a bit intrepid on a narrow dirt road, so be prepared for that. The plus-side of that is that it feels very secluded up on the hill, so you are really able to relax. "

It was fair distance 20 mins from Chania and taxis did pick us up and drop us off but wait was half an hour late for drop off and long wait in unorganised queues to get back, but was do able. It was good but mainly to stay in hotel...

Great view

"The reneiris hotel is on a hillside overlooking the beach. The view is spectacular and sitting in the balcony each evening was a great experience. BOOK A ROOM WITH A VIEW!! The rooms are modern and well presented. Breakfast is served in the pool bar and is varied and of Good quality. Pool area is nice, lots of parasols and pool was just right (1.6m max depth)"

"Excellent friendly staff Nice hotel with beach front location and a 2 minute walk into town for the shops and restaurants Plenty of sun loungers on the beach to the front of the hotel Wheelchair and buggy accessible Varied breakfast, lunch and dinner, menu Reception will arrange taxis, tours, or car hire if required Only 40mins by taxi / car from Chania Airport (40Eu each way) "

"Literally couldn't fault this wonderful hotel. Ultra friendly, helpful staff, so clean, convenient for local restaurants/supermarkets etc. It's a 30 minute taxi ride into Chania old town, although there are buses. Honestly, a perfect stay"

"The property is outstanding, very clean and beautiful. The bathrooms are a bit outdated but very clean. The exterior, pool, garden area are beautifully set up and very zen. It’s not very close to anything other than 2-3 restaurants so you need a car. But coming back to this spot after your day on the beach or any other place feels really good! "

"Our stay at Isida hotel was wonderful, from the delicious food, friendly staff, great entertainment and very clean and well kept resort, we enjoyed every moment of it. Short walking distance the beach where you can rent jet skis and other water sports. Shopping, restaurants and rentals are all within walking distance from the hotel. Great location and very friendly staff, met all our needs. Will definitely return. "
