"We loved staying in this house. It was perfect for our family of 6 and my parents. Great amenities and so much space. Were certainly quite a few broken things when we arrive such as the back screen door, the hot tub was empty with stagnant water in it, cuts in the felt of the pool table and broken screens in the deck area. But these were not things that affected our stay so we weren’t concerned. With some TLC this house could be amazing, but we still had a great time anyway. The cows in the backyard were also a great element that the kids loved so much! Thanks for an amazing weekend away for our family! Hope to be able to stay again soon. "

"This is a classic country motel, nothing flash but clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable short stay. Air conditioning, a fan, mirrors, extra pillows, good access to power points and lamp switches and well placed bins. It is also a short 10 minute walk to the main street of Boonah."

"I read the varying reviews on this hotel and I was a little wary but tbf we had no issues with the place. Yes it’s dated but it sort of goes with the wackiness of it all. Good sleep, decent room with a view, great breakfast and all within a reasonable price. The view from upper rooms are just worthy of * themselves. Don’t be put off by bad reviews the hotel is fine and cheap."

"Such a beautiful property and place to stay. The owner had everything we needed and much more, even fresh flowers! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck listening to the birds and the running creek. The owner had a fire pit setup for us and we loved watching the cows nearby. Highly recommend this great little get away for its beautiful scenery, comfortable accomodation and hospitable service. "

"Absolutely amazing and perfect for a quiet night away. The room was super cosy and luxurious and the grounds around the property were stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having the use of the hot tub, pool and sauna made our experience even better it’s an all in one getaway for some R&R. Our breakfast was very generous and simply delicious too. We loved everything about it! Highly recommend! "

"Very special place to unwind and enjoy the nature. Wallabies are so cute and come to graze in the vineyard in the morning. Not far from spectacularly beautiful rainforests, waterfalls, wildlife in the national parks. Dan, our host was so kind and gracious- ask him more about local hikes and places to go. The place has everything you need - laundry, stove, fridge , microwave, even pool and jacuzzi under the stars. Just remember things shut down early out there so go to the local IGA early - they had delicious Mangoes, berries, watermelon and salads as well as other foods and goods. Lots of cute restaurants and shops in Mt Tambourine area but they close early. Sunset and hang glider lookout is a must! Bring your own dinner/drinks and a blanket for an amazing evening.
