"Incredible staff nothing was too much to ensure my stay was amazing. The room was fantastic but would have liked not to have ask for the fridge or other listed things that weren’t in the room.! Main issue would be the lack of transport for solo travellers, the opportunity is there but not explored as we would love to book trips but are excluded The location may not be suitable for many but for my stay it was perfect "

"We loved having a 3 bedroom suite with a living area and private baths for all. So nice to be all together yet in our own space, The food was good and the service was too! Unfortunately the property isn't licensed. That's the only hesitation I would have on returning."

"Excellent location. We had money go missing from our room. Check in was very impersonal and after a full days travel we were required to line up again to fill out an pay the government tax, surly this can be done anytime during the stay. The person who took us to our room gave us no information about the place room wise or resort wise. They talk a good service ethic but as far as I was concerned service was non existent. "My stay at Kwanza was amazing, stayed here for my honeymoon and my wife really loved the resort. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms which was a nice added feature. The only thing I could fault this hotel is the drainage system in the shower and sink is a bit slow to go down the drain other than that everything is 5 star. I would definitely stay here again and the staff were all amazing and accommodating. "

"Vi havde generelt et godt ophold. Servicen var god, og de ansatte var imødekommende og kommunikerende. Værelset var fint, og AC virkede upåklageligt. Eneste minus var badeværelset, som var uden afskærmet brusekabine og bestemt ikke lever op til standarden for et godt hotel. Hotellet har god beliggenhed helt ned til havet, og stranden er dejlig og umiddelbart mindre turistet end andre steder på Zanzibar. "

"Right on the beach in StoneTown .This hotel is unmatched for location as well as service. Friendly and caring staff who are happy to assist with all your needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air-conditioned, a mini fridge, and kettle with coffee and tea provided. Great pool areas which were well maintained. A charming place with lots of history. I would definitely stay again!"

"The resort is lovely, staff are all wonderful. The resort is secluded, nice and private. Very quiet, lovely area. The staff are extremely nice and attentive. The resort food was delicious; the gift shop very nice. The pool was very refreshing while the beach was breezy and so comfortable to nap on. I also loved seeing the Masai walking around the property, they were nice and more than happy to take pictures with. I will definitely recommend and return to the resort in the future!"
