"A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. "

"I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. "

"I was with both my daughters the area la Neisha is situated is very safe, we were out late night we felt secure and the streets lights were visible. Also the staffs are very friendly and helpful especial Ali, Suleiman and Aisha. We wanted a transport to go to port they arranged for us. I would just like to give feedback in regards to room service, the telephone was not working , there was no curtain shower or hair dryer, this could be because of the new management. "This was a nice property very close to the beach. The owner was super nice and involved. He showed us around and showed us where to eat in the area. The only downside was the shower which had salty water so when you showered it was like showering with ocean water. "

"We had a lovely time at Kiponda, the location is amazing for exploring Stone Town and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. We loved the rooftop view from the restaurant. Breakfast was fine but with limited options. Lovely place, thank you!"
