"Beautiful and unique space- so, be prepared to climb and then be rewarded for your efforts. We loved exploring Chania, we loved the property and wish we had an extra day just to spend lounging in the room and on the roof garden. We don't usually eat breakfast but would not miss this breakfast for anything, hot coffee, fresh juice, quiet old cafe feel. We truly appreciated the peaceful ,yet busy, mornings, smiling faces, and great service."

"This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"

"My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and tidy with a good sized kitchenette should you wish to do some cooking yourself during your stay. The staff were very attentive and friendly, we were also able to print all of our documents at reception for the flight home (including all COVID-19 documents!) which was super handy.
