"Really beautiful haven in Mirissa, sitting right on the river and with a lovely pool. Sitting on the balcony, we saw monkeys, lizards, bats and a woodpecker. The furniture was all beautiful and they'd thought of everything, it was very comfortable and the AC was very powerful. The manager couldn't do enough to help, giving fantastic food recommendations, arranging free tuk tuks to get to town and welcoming us to use the pool after we'd checked out"

"Very nice place, quiet and comfortable. Litteraly 2 minutes walk to the beach and lots of restaurants in the area. Ac works good, big room and delicious breakfast. The owner is a very nice and kind woman we recommend 100%"

"Room was small and dark, described as a one bedroom but it was a studio. Common areas were nicely decorated. Restaurant was good and breakfast was included and had lots of options. Hotel did not advise they did not accept credit and then staff became annoyed when we took too long to find a bank machine. Probably better suited for single people and couples rather than families."

"The hotel was a complete disappointment. It is completely in ruins. The price doesn't make any sense. The staff was very nice though, but couldn't do much. The beach nearby, however, is spectacular. Try other accommodations in the area."

"The house was beautiful with wonderful sea views and very well kept and homely. Quality room. Location was mixed as very close to the blowhole attraction, one small Beach with coral and over longer bay with quiet waves; however it's a long way from a supermarket, bus stop or restaurant and up some rocky steps uphill which was difficult for my partner who was using crutches. "Malgré notre confirmation de réservation, une fois sur place nous n'avons pas été reçu. Cela avec plusieurs excuses différentes. La première excuse donnée à notre chauffeur, c'est qu'ils avaient reçu 11 personnes en dernière minutes donc plus de place de dispo. la suivante pour nous, c'est qu'il ne travaillait plus avec notre agences Expedia et la 3eme lorsqu'un agent de Hôtels a appelé, ils ont dit qu'ils étaient fermé à cause de la météo.... "From the house itself, the area, to the service- it was all rather underwhelming. The house is nice but much smaller than it appears- especially the pool. When we arrived there was no power (not their fault however the host knew already for a day and failed to mention this). The host and her property manager did not offer any help or solutions- we even had to ask for some candles as we were sitting in the pitch black for a while. "Overall a really nice, comfortable place to stay. Wait staff, Marlin, and exec chef were friendly and enjoyed our conversations! Breakfast was good, dinner was good, grounds and pool area very well kept. The superior room was spacious, clean, and loved our balcony. Stayed for 2 nights, ate our meals there, lounged poolside for the day, and just had a fantastic leisurely time, which is all we had on our itinerary for Weligama! Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!"

The best in Welligama!

"I loved the location which was on the beach and it was a great view to see surfers surfing. Loved the food and the music wasn't too loud. I can't remember the name of the gentlemen staff but he spoke good English and was Sri Lankan who used to work in the middle east. He really really made us feel welcome and comfortable. Taking the extra trouble to make guests feel welcome. If you had the pleasure to meet him during your stay, he will surely look after you. The room was beautiful and spacious & great value for money."

"One of the best hotels that we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Right up against the beach front with beautiful views, modern and spacious rooms, and great facilities. The food served at the restaurant was reasonably proced and delicious, and the hotel is very close to Mirissa Beach and Turtle Point. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating, making our stay a very positive experience. We will definitely be back when travelling Sri Lanka next, and would highly recommend to anyone else going through Mirissa."
