"Lai Thai is in a great location with great swimming pool. Kids pool, lane swimming for serious swimmers plus lovely general swim area. Sun beds and umbrellas made it perfect ! Lovely large rooms. Very comfy bed with good size balcony. Kitchenette with full size fridge freezer was perfect for making breakfasts etc. The air con is excellent, if any issues then maintenance staff were very fast to remedy any problem. "The apartment was very good clean security very good It would be good if there was a shop on site & if the restaurant was open longer Pool service would also be good All in all a great place to stay & not too far from the beach"

"The building was very hard to find. Our taxi driver spent an extra 30 minutes driving around the area because even our GPS was having trouble finding it. Once we did arrive there were no signs for reception at all - it appears to be an apartment building more than a hotel. Once we found where to check in they were very rude. We were hungry and asked where there was nearby to get food the lady replied "Nowhere. Can I go now" Overall the worst stay at any "hotel" I have ever had."

"Quaint botique hotel. Loved staying here. It's off the main street so there is no noise from the many vehicles and tuktuks that transport people to and from Ao Nang. You can walk to Ao Nang beach takes about 20 mins or just grab a tuktuk from the main road for $100baht. The main road is about a 5 minute walk to get to and there are 2 convienence stores at your disposal. The staff is very helpful and can book all your tours or transportation for you. "We had an amazing stay here. The room was huge, we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was perfect with two young kids. Also so nice that it had a washer and dryer in the room free of charge. Our kids loved going to the kids club and they were able to stay as long as they wanted. Food is good at the Zest restaurant, mini golf was fun and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely come back again next time we visit Phuket! "

"Amazing resort, from the facilities to staff to dining! They really want to make sure you have the best experience possible, which I can’t say for some other resorts in this part of Thailand. The only downside about this place is that it’s a bit isolated which makes it a little difficult to get around. But if you are looking to just have a resort experience, it’s perfect! "

"I stay at the BlueSotel often. It is a nice place and always enjoy my stay. I just wish they would upgrade a few things at the breakfast buffet. The house coffee they have is quite bad, although you can order & pay for latte or cappuccino if you like. Also the juices are basically flavored sugar water. "

Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach

"This is our second time staying at this property and loved it just as much as we did the first time. The food is great, the beach and surrounding area is perfect fro a quite time away from everyday life. Their shuttle service to the nearby town is perfect. And its a short distance away even if you want to hire a taxi/tuk-tuk to go on your own. Would recommend this and go back, for sure. "

"Varana Hotel in Krabi is almost new and a lot of money and thoughts have gone into making this a brilliant hotel, including a 50m olympic size swimming pool and other pools, some whirlpool spa-style. It was low season so no crowds around the pool and therefore a very happily quiet stay. The on-site restaurants Kin (breakfast) and Nook (dinner) served excellent food and the staff were attentive, polite and helpful throughout. There is a road to cross to get to the beach, but the fantastic pool more than made up for the need for visiting the beach at all. Altogether, an excellent hotel. The area around it has plenty of cheap restaurants and massage parlours for those who want to explore on foot."
