"We liked the location on a small private beach and being away from the main road. Our cabin was just above the sea and beach and had a beautiful outlook. Bed was very comfortable with good linens. Breakfast was decent with choices of cereal, eggs, some (limited) fruit. We always managed to find a deckchair - it never felt too busy. Only negative was that the bathroom was a bit worn but still functional. Staff were very helpful. Good restaurants in walking distance (we didn’t have meals at the resort). Restaurants we went to were Coco Tango, Shamti Shanti, Dirty Fish. The cabins are up multiple stairs and on a hill - so you need to be mobile to stay here. We would recommend staying here - it was “comfy rustic”."

"We had great experience staying in this hotel. Individual villas are spacious and with open-air shower. Walkable distance to the beach and restaurants. Scooter hire available at the hotel, as well as massage sessions. Generous breakfast, but I'd recommend to bring your own milk and spreads if you avoid dairy. Clean swimming pool with nice area around.My only suggestion would be to add mosquito nets in the rooms because we couldn't keep windows/door open without risk being attacked and had to run the A/C all night. "

"10/10. We stayed here for 6 nights and would highly reccomend. It’s quiet and an easy 1 min walk to the beach with lots of dining options. Theres a great pool with a pool bar, jimmy and sunsun are amazing. Art at the front desk was awesome as well. He organized our transportation and ferries for us. Junior at the restaurant bar was awesome too. Thanks for the good times. The room was exactly what we needed. Great air conditioning, & big bathroom. We loved the porch out front with the hammock to end our day. Housekeeping cleans the room each day and replenishes water and other amnesties in the room. We can’t wait to come back! "The location of this hotel is stunning, with the pool at the very top of the complex. There is a lot of climbing up stairs and slopes to get anywhere, but well worth it and I suppose the clue is in the name of "Cliff" Beach resort. The majority of the other hotels etc are at sea level and further along this east coast, so many have virtually no sun during the day, whilst due to the height of the pool are here, you can get sun well into the afternoon. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. By far the best place to stay on the islane in my oinion. "

"The hotel is in a beautiful setting in an ideal location on this tiny island. It is really idyllic. The hotel is a little tired but the pricing reflects this. We had a very comfortable stay. The dive centre was also located here. Transfers were also easy as the drop off / collection point was at this hotel. The staff were very helpful. "

"Amazing stay for our first long haul family holiday. Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again."

"We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!"
