"I will say we had a lovely stay, but would agree with other reviews that I wouldn’t call it 5 star. We didn’t have hot water when we arrived but it was quickly rectified once reported. We also had a decent leak come through the ceiling after a heavy rain which was also quickly rectified. Check-in was fantastic, the resort is lovely and the staff are very kind."

"Everyone on staff were soooooooo nice! I loved this stay!!!! I will say, the crowd was older than I expected it to be, I felt like one of the youngest people on the property, and I’m in my mid-30s! Overall, would stay again. Shoutout to Celyn who helped me with check-in!"

"This is a beautiful hotel to stay at if you are going to enjoy all the amenities that it offers. We absolutely loved out stay here but we went to patong a lot and island hopping so we did not spend much time at the hotel. If you are planning to relax and stay at the hotel in a quiet area, I would recommend staying here "

"Stay was pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean. But had a foul smell in the lift. Beds were not that comfortable. It was so springy, that you will drench when you lie on the edge and have body pain when you wake up the next day. Had a problem with booking. I booked for 2 adults and 2 children aged 2 & 4. But they booked through another agency and they booked for 2 adults and 2 infants(1 year old). So hotel requested us to pay 3K for an additional child. Though there is nothing...

"The Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket is a nice Resort. However, we didn't have much time to really enjoy the property. We spent 2 out of the 4 days we stayed there on full day excursions. One was Scuba Diving and one was a full day excursion to Maya Bay and the Phi Phi Islands. We stayed in a Premium Room with our own Plunge Pool the view from our Pool and balcony was exceptional. "I was only here for a day and a half and it wasnt long enough but well worth it. My only complaint is that my view was of another hotel with their rooftop pool area. But if ur social, adventurous and vocal, then u can have fun talking to whoever is on that roof. I was in room 1305. Also there was no iton for clothes, that sucked. But the size of the room was great and i really like their shower. Wish i stayed longer."

"I was kindly placed in room 323.I booked a pool side room which was not given. My wife was just happy to be at the Patong Paragon so room 323 was nice. The staff were fantastic and beautiful however some of the guests were rude and inconsiderate to staff which was distressing. I wish all the staff at the Paragon the best. "

"The property itself is ok beds are very comfortable and clean, breakfast is very basic no variety at all no cereals for kids or pancakes and fir the amount of money we paid it’s not great so I would only give 2 stars to this property, dinner in the restaurant is not great either, but we went outside the resort to eat as it was nicer and a bit cheaper. "

"Everything was pretty good with HOMA. I found the location kinda far from many activities i wanted to do outside of old town. Most rides ended up about 15-40 mins. Check in was simple but they do not have a in-room phone so you have to get an app or ask at the desk. But for a short stay it was not bad at all these are just the things that were negative"

"The staff at GP were absolutely lovely and helpful nothing seemed too much trouble, the only downside of this hotel was the pool area, there are no hand rails to get in and out of the pool, I have slight mobility issues and found it incredibly difficult to get out, the steps are really deep, they could also do with a few umbers for shade. "

"My partner and I recently stayed at the Mandarava Resort and Spa, and we had an amazing experience. Tucked away near the beach in Karon, this villa-style resort is surrounded by lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. The entire atmosphere exudes peace and relaxation like stepping into a tropical sanctuary.The villa-suites are beautifully designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, offering privacy and comfort. One of the highlights of our stay was the massage at the spa which was a wonderful and deeply relaxing experience. The treatments from Apple and Milky were thoughtfully done in a serene and comfortable setting, leaving us feeling completely refreshed and restored. The staff at Mandavara were truly outstanding — so kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made the entire stay feel even more special. The food was delicious and fairly priced, and I really appreciated how generous they were with bottled water during our stay— a small but thoughtful gesture that made a big difference in the tropical heat. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch service and a calming spa experience, Mandarava Resort and Spa is highly recommended! "
