"In many ways more like B&B rather than hotel. Public bar downstairs. Breakfast very nice and owner friendly and helpful. Set in a small village with very nice surrounding countryside. My only criticism would be that it was quite expensive for a B&B. "

"Stayed for 1 night, nice accommodation clean & tidy with a good shower. Tea /coffee in room, good size TV. Inn restaurant good food & choice for dinner downed with a couple of Guinness. Excellent breakfast plenty of choice. Great stay yhankyou."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Armadale Castle, the view from the place was amazing. My husband and I went during their off season so they place was pretty much to ourselves, I personally loved how quite it was and how close the store was to the place. We plan on booking again when we go back to Scotland."

"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."
