"This place was probably awesome when it was built. The pool area is definitely a bit dated, but my kids loved it and thought it was the best. I like that the sauna is in the pool area. And the pool was surprisingly warm. Our room on the 14th floor was exactly as expected, the view was great. I don’t understand the big deal about the parking garage in a lot of the reviews. I did notice the pigeon corner on the lower level, lol. But seriously, no biggie. Clearly the pigeons won that battle. If you...

"Such a nice little get away spot in the heart of Duluth. It is surprisingly peaceful and quiet for being so close to the action. Within walking distance to many of Duluth's biggest attractions. The ships coming through the canal really make this a special location. "

"My husband and I came for a two-night trip to celebrate our December anniversary. The room was far less expensive than the hotels at Canal Park, but we were still within walking distance of Canal Park and Bentleyville. The room was large and beautifully decorated (yellow is my favorite color!). We live in an old farmhouse, so we love buildings with character. My ONLY complaint is that the bed was NOT comfortable and I slept horribly both nights (and a box of tissues would have been nice). Other...

"Overall pretty decent considering it was new years eve. The only thing that could have used some improvement was the lack of towels in the pool area, you def needed to bring your own towel, they did bring a small stack in but they were gone within a couple minutes. "
