"Loved the views, they were truly amazing. The couch and the master bed were comfortable. Loved that we had access to back-up supplies as needed, and the washer and dryer. We were grateful for that. Conveniently located between Hood River and the Dalles which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we really enjoyed this property. The views and comfort compensated for a few things that need to be addressed. Batteries need to be replaced in the remotes, we looked for back-ups and could not find any....

One improvement would be to add a second fan unit downstairs to the split heat pump system. The lower bedroom can get hot in summer. Also need more comfortable deck chairs. We brought our own."

"This charming home is in a beautiful neighborhood and the location is perfect for waking into town. It easily accommodated our large extended family and was equipped with everything we needed. I was especially impressed with the kitchen! My daughter and I loved sitting in the breakfast nook, overlooking the sloped back yard, the Columbia river and Washington foothills.I look forward to returning for a girls weekend soon!"

"We had a three day stay at this wonderful home. The home has a beautiful view of the Columbia River…very peaceful and relaxing. The cleaning ladies did an excellent job leaving the home spotless for us. The owners contacted us several times to insure that our stay was without any problems. It is clear that the owners want their guests to enjoy their stay and had the home very well furnished. We would highly recommend this rental for anyone wanting a relaxing time in Hood River. "

"It's lovely place with enough space for all of us including a small dachshund. The hardwood floors have the "lived in" look which is nice and cozy. The unique seating in the kitchen, bottles, surfboards gave a wonderful "hang loose" feel. The not so wonderful poop in the yard upon arrival was a shock but not a big thing, especially since we are asked and should clean up after our dog, The biggest issue for us was the driveway. "Our Family - Son, Daughter-in-Law, Grandson, Grandma, Grandpa came from Pennsylvania to visit our son and his fiance that live in Lyle. The house is less than a 5 minute walk from them and is absolutely awesome! There was plenty of room, it was spotless, had everything we needed, and the views are amazing! We would highly recommend this property and look forward to our next visit."
