"Booked this as it was different and was a bit of fun. No headroom for the bunk bed at all, and it was an ‘experience’. The setting is lovely, the hotel grounds are very nice and the owner was very helpful and I would not hesitate to stay in the hotel again in a nice room with a view , but not in the barrel again. I’m too big 😂 ( 186cms) "

"Arrived early evening and found our key and name on a table outside of what appeared to be the main entrance. We entered the building and were made to feel fairly unwelcome and it was pointed out that our entrance was around the corner in the car park, we asked where breakfast was served it was in the dining room next to the main entrance. Our room was located on the top floor of an adjacent building. It was basically in the roof space, it was not possible to sit up in the bed due to sloping...

"Grumpy staff, not willing to help and not even trying to speak another language but german. Very little info in english or other languages. Horrible wi-fi, and you constantly have to log on to hotspot. Suggestions: -Open some ceiling windows in djungelland and the restaurant "street", the heat is too much! -Maximum 3 hours in the pool area? Come on! This sounds negative, but all in all it was a very nice place!"

"The property has an excellent location, very close to the beach. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the heated bathroom floors were an unexpected delight. There were however several families with children that made quite a bit of noise. The rooms are close together so it is difficult to prevent this.
